Hi! My name is Debbie Teets. I have been with the IU#1 for 30 years. I taught an Autistic Support Class for 7 years but I taught ESY and had children with autism for close to 15 years. I am currently a Lead Support Teacher for Team 6 in Fayette County. This wikispace can be a great resource for teachers and other individuals with experience or those in need of experience with Autism.
Hi all.. My name is Mary Ann Rocco. One reason I thought this would be an awesome space is that all of us do not know each other. I have been a teacher for IU#1 for 30 years too! The majority of this time has been teaching students with Autism. I love the research based practices/ figuring out strategies for our students. The last three years I have been LST for Autism/OT/PT for the IU. This takes me into our IU#! A.S. and other IU#1classes as well as many distict run classes in the IU#! area that serve students with ASD. I particularly enjoy collaborating with the teams and parents for the students we serve with ASD.

Hello to all! My name is Kristin Szewczyk (pronounced shef-tic), and I am a speech-language pathologist. I currently serve the autistic support classrooms at the I.U. #1 campus at East Franklin, as well as several students on the autism spectrum in Carmichaels Area School District. I am very excited about this forum! We have so much to learn from our students, as well as from each other. I look forward to learning and "wiking" with you!! Take care ~Kristin

Hey, Dennis Krivacek here. Guess I'm the "old-timer"- "short-timer" of the group presently working on my 36th year. Wife Judy insists that I work until SHE is ready to retire. Started my career teaching at Western Center. Been teaching AS since 1981. OUCH! Best class in the IU (mine) is housed at Laboratory School he
re in Washington PA. I say this not because of me, but my students. Looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say. Welcome everyone!
